Movies You’ve Seen the Most

Slate has an article on movies a handful of directors and various movie people have seen the most. In the spirit of continuing the discussion, the movie I’ve seen the most is Spalding Gray’s Swimming to Cambodia.

For me, it’s probably a three way tie between Star Wars, Dead Man, and Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.

It’s gotta be The Breakfast Club, The Princess Bride and Wargames

Doctor Zhivago. My parents bought it for me as a Christmas present during a time when I was too poor to buy or rent anything else. I’ve probably seen it 100 times (twice a week for a year). Too bad it’s not a better film.

Probably any of a number of Warner Brothers cartoons, circa 1930s-1940s, as broadcast throughout the 1960s on KTVT’s “Cartoon Carnival” (“Your Favorite Lunchtime Laughter”).
