Calorie-Restricted Diet

Aside from direct genetic manipulation, calorie restriction is the only strategy known to extend life consistently in a variety of animal species.

    I did a water fast twice and found it to be beneficial.

    I’m intrigued to see caloric restriction become news, though I wonder if “eating less” is really about the most obvious thing one could think of when considering the obesity in America.

    Also interesting was that the article talks about pills to mimic caloric restriction, as if one couldn’t just eat less, no, they need to take a pill to mimic eating less. This schizophrenic logic seems to be the foundation of the country….ok, I’m exaggerating…barely.
