House-Attack
We see urban sprawl everywhere. Austrian sculptor Erwin Wurm dramatizes the effects of unchecked urbanization on culture in this art project, entitled House-Attack. The intent is to portray the house as if it has fallen out of the sky and landed on the famous museum in the centre of the Austrian capital. Wurm said: “There are hundreds of thousands of houses and they are spreading like a plague, like a cancer across our land.”
