Bless You, Molly Ivins

Best-selling author and columnist Molly Ivins, the sharp-witted liberal who skewered the political establishment and referred to President Bush as “Shrub,” died Wednesday after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 62.

    Molly Molly Molly–she was grand. I still remember the time a news program on PBS quickly cut away from her after she was asked what Geraldine Ferraro had going for her as a VP candidate. “She’s got a great set of garbanzas,” Molly said //
