Believe it or not, I posted my photo before reading this thread, just because I thought I should have some fun in responding to Andrew.

I also commented on Cindy’s photo [in a teasing elementary-school fashion] [which also indicates that what I said is NOT true] [Cindy is lovely].

I would also like to say that Daryl looks uncannily like Eric Clapton has for the past several years.

I might also note that Cindy is probably only the second person in history who is not a member of my family but has been kind enough to suggest that I am not the homeliest man alive.

And yes, I really am contemplating a posting on Eric Burdon.

Mary, you might ask Amy to loan you her car. Or I could loan you Jon’s and my 350Z. (Come to think of it, though, the “Sunset LeMans” — or is it “LeMans Sunset”? — hue of the Z would not set off your LeMans jacket to advantage. Better, perhaps, to go with basic black.)

I have met Barry Stone and Ann Pizer- they are neighbors. Otherwise, I affectionately refer to what I do at clusterflock as "blogging with strangers". When I was first reading through this comment thread, I was thinking it would be nice to have a pointilist portrait done all WSJ style. Now? that we're really doing it? I can't decide to go crazy (red eye devil effect), or conservative decent (not that I have any of the latter). Oh! How I could photograph myself wearing the Le Mans! Anyone have a racecar for photoshop?

I've not had the pleasure of meeting any of you. Perhaps I can remedy that sometime. I've not figured out how to post images here, so I'll just provide you with a link to a picture I've posted on my blog. I am the less-hirsute one, and that is a reasonable likeness of my left profile.
