“Hating Duke means never having to say you’re sorry.”

Thus sayeth my wife–and, I would imagine, these guys. Here’s the opening paragraph for a post called “Coach KKK: Cowardly hides behind Shabazz’ Warriors” (don’t worry; I don’t get all of it, either):

The face of a rat. Wrinkled and rodent like. Beady eyes jutting in every direction. Black hair combed over the cranium that hosts the devil’s cerebellum. Always looking as if he has just picked your pocket. Constantly ready to complain. A body boasting replaced hips, worn from years of feigned indignation when referees did not follow; he as pied piper, they as lemmings.

Well, it’s not parody as I understand that term (unless you’re asking about the blog’s title–in which case, yes). The incident described in the post I linked to–the Duke player breaking and bloodying the UNC player’s nose–actually happened last Sunday, though (I’m pretty certain) not with the style points the blog slathers on.

    So: McSweeney’s-style humor.
