Fast Food Nation

Ms. Meek-Kreilach had become upset about an incorrect take-out restaurant order and threw the bag of food out the car window, police said. She then stepped out of the moving vehicle and fell under the rear wheel, which ran over her lower back, police said.

I was going to say this is more proof that fast food is bad for you, but then I read the rest of the story and saw that she died, so I won’t say it now.

Yes, the fact that she died does kind of take the fun out of the whole thing. Unless it happens in a Quentin Tarrantino film.

Wonder whether she was Ms. Meek or Ms. Kreilach before she bcame (the late) Ms. Meek-Kreilach . . .

Okay, so I read on and discovered the answer to that question.

Now what I want to know is this: What restaurant was it, what had she ordered, and what was she served that so enraged her?

The last time I ate a Big Mac I kind of felt like throwing myself under the wheels of my car afterward.

I’m happy to say it’s been a while, and I’m feeling much better about myself.

That’s good, Michael. My first thought was that she deserved to get run over for throwing her food out of the car window. But perhaps that’s a bit harsh, considering the outcome.
