BMW Reinvents the 2002, entry level coupe for the U.S.

I don’t love the styling, but I love the idea of a light-weight, two door from BMW with a twin turbo V-6 at entry-level (for a BMW) pricing.

I just saw a print ad for the ‘re-styled’ 535. I’m in total lust. I think it might be the right step-up from my current 1995 Escort. Wadya think?

If there is any car that could make me give up my beloved MINI Cooper S, this is it.

Vin, to me, the rear-wheel drive seals the deal.

    Rick! Do it!

If any car can get me to give up my beloved MINI Cooper S, it will be this.

The 535′s rear wheel drive? How’d I miss that?

Sorry Deron, I’ll have to think about it. I really like AWD or at least FWD.

Vin, you have a MINI Cooper S? Styly. Adorable. I’ve thought about it. ‘Course at its root, too, a BMW. Would you really let go of it for something bigger?

Sheila? I’ve considered an Element. Drove a friend’s last weekend. It’s just, well, the doors and the way they open in parking ramps if there are more than two getting out? If it were just me hauling most of the time…maybe?

My most favorite? The Volvo Cross Country. Am I a Soccer Mom?

yep, all the bmws are rear-wheel drive. hence the ‘ultimate driving machine’ marketing. you should drive one. I bet you’ll change your mind….
