Meet the Flockers: Patrick Burleson
My name is Patrick Burleson and I was born in Sherman, TX on January 8, 1978. My mother died in November of 1984 of breast cancer. I have two older half brothers ( from my mom’s previous marriage ). I was raised by a multitude of family members, but mostly my dad’s mom and my dad’s aunt.
I now live in McKinney, TX with my lovely wife Maggie and our 14 month old son Brenden. Brenden was born with symbrachydactyly, which for him means he’s missing his right hand.
Maggie and I had a brief time were we lived in the NYC area from 2004-2005. We lived right on the Hudson in Jersey City, NJ and I worked in Midtown Manhattan.
I’m a computer nerd by trade and work making software for a living. I love sports, games, cars, trivia, reading, music, art, and anything that further expands my knowledge. I also love a good movie ( and even some bad ones ).
I’ve been reading and lurking on clusterflock from the beginning once Deron told me about it. Deron and I worked together “back in the day” and have kept in touch. Thanks for the invite.

Welcome, Patrick!
Hi Patrick! Looking forward to having you here.
kick ass!
I worked with Patrick, too (and Deron). Patrick wasn’t even old enough to drink, but was the smartest person in the company.
I hope he’s drinking now. It really helps. Except with the smartness.
Welcome, Patrick.
I am drinking now. Favorites are Long Island Iced Tea and Vodka Gimlet.
I love Vodka Gimlets with extra vodka and hold the gimlet.
By “now”, do you mean “in this present decade”, or do you mean “as I type in my cubicle at work”?
“present decade”, but how I could go for a Tea right now.
Favorite vodka? I flip between Belvedere and Grey Goose.
Mmmm…Right now I’d love a classic Gimlet made with gin. Maybe that’s my problem with work: I’m not drinking enough.
Welcome to yet another Texan, from yet another Texan.
Welcome Patrick, I look forward to your contributions. Ask Deron, you may not want to look forward to mine, especially of late. With advance apology, just in case.
Rick, you’re just daring me to out-do you.
If you are incline, I would recommend Hanger One, if you can find the vodka in Texas. Quite tasty.
Welcome, incidentally.
Rick, Andrew and John, thanks for the welcome.
Andrew, I’ll see if I can find that one. Always like to try new ones.
