Mozart Ancedote
I was reading the other day, with PBS on the TV in the background, and somebody—I think it was Wayne Dyer—told a great story about Mozart:
A young man came to Mozart and said, “Herr Mozart, please help me learn to write symphonies.”
Mozart looked up at him. “Well, you are young. I suggest that you begin by writing a few minuets.”
“But you were writing symphonies at the age of nine!”
“Yes,” Mozart said, “but I didn’t need anybody to tell me how to do it.”
