Giant Spider Web in Texas

Entomologists are debating the origin and rarity of a sprawling spider web that blankets several trees, shrubs and the ground along a 200-yard stretch of trail in a North Texas park. Officials at Lake Tawakoni State Park say the massive mosquito trap is a big attraction for some visitors, while others won’t go anywhere near it. “At first, it was so white it looked like fairyland,” said Donna Garde, superintendent of the park about 45 miles east of Dallas. “Now it’s filled with so many mosquitoes that it’s turned a little brown. There are times you can literally hear the screech of millions of mosquitoes caught in those webs.”

I think massive web is truly incredible.I personaly think it’s an alien life form.I have never seen or heard of anything like this.Could you please keep me updated on the the webs.thx
I examined the far larger web event in McBride, BC Canada. Same kind of thing: major dragline display without ballooning conditions. Web will disappear after repeated freezing: becomes very brittle.
“I personaly think it’s an alien life form”
I agree, this is the most logical and rational of explanations in my mind.
I think it is a sign of insects evolving rapidly, maybe there is a core spider species that is organizing the other spiders into this type of behavior. Note, when insects become conscious, we are all doomed.
i agreee with the other 2 people i think this is aliens at work trying to dominate the world
Aliens aliens are on their way to our home planet. Run, run, run for your lives take cover, oh no a metero shower. I’ve got go
i hope the mother ship will come for me soon
Very clever those spiders.
Now they won’t starve.
By the way, spiders are not insects; they are arachnids.
