    (By the way, that is not Nick the Dude Lord of the Onion Rings in the middle picture. If I post his picture, I’ll have to send him money for the rest of my life.)

    Nick is my older sister’s husband. He’s an awesome guy. He was Nick the Dude way before The Big Lebowski, even before Quincy Jones wrote that song The Dude. I’m not saying Nick was born into dudedom, but I think he started early.

    Inflation in the nation don’t bother me
    ’cause I’m a scholar with a dollar as you can plainly see.

    Traces of Nick’s onion ring batter will be unearthed by future generations, who will marvel at the high-strength adhesive technology of the late twentieth century.
