Coffee Cup Lids

coffeCupLids.jpg

Our collection of independently-patented drink-through plastic cup lids is the largest in the United States. We are ever-vigilant, and make new additions to our collection in the most obvious of places— in convenience stores, gas stations, diners, and delis. Ours is a collection of the ordinary, not the esoteric. It has no monetary value, but rather operates as some modest form of intellectual capital.

This is great. I didn’t realize there were so many designs for such a thing. With the black background this reminds me of those Dover books featuring pictures of diatoms and sea creatures, as well as the Dover book of snowflakes. I love to see things set in a series; they produce in me a sense of abundance that results in mild elation.

Also, look at the lid that’s in the 5th row from the left, second down. A subtle reminder not to spill it on your crotch? Sick bastards.

    “Peel, pucker, pinch, puncture.”

Already I’m getting pretty good at rapid recitation of that sequence of words — even the “pinch, puncture” portion.

Let’s vote for our favorites. Mine: Column 6, Row 2.

Cindy–I think my guy to the left is happy to have used yours. And he put the lid back down!
