Grandmother
It makes me mad when people say I didn’t treat Grandmother well when she was sick. Maybe it was because of that one time I dropped her in the hallway when she had to go to the bathroom and I just stood there and laughed and laughed.

I don’t know you well enough to say much. Just this, maybe. There is such humor in the things we try to do for one another when called upon. Sometimes, the only thing we can do is laugh out loud. At times, sometimes, the only other thing we might do in such a situation is sit down on the floor and start bawlin’.
