Warthogs

I know I said goats are the coolest species ever, but warthogs might top them.

And then there is the camel. And leopards.
I’ve seen a lot of cool animals here, but sadly it’s time to come home to a city of humans, rats and pigeons.

Only if they don’t give you warts. But they’re wart hogs, so I guess they keep them to themselves. Okay, I’ll get some warthogs and let y’all know.

I’m seeking individuals willing to participate in a preliminary, open study of the combination of pressed rat and warthog for rapid treatment of major depression.

Okay, I’ll try it and let y’all know. Do you have a study on Ginger Baker’s general effect on depression? I’ll try that, too.

I know that several researchers have attempted to gauge the anti-depressant effects of the “Toad” drum solo, but in each instance the participants dropped out of the study before the thirteen minutes were up.

Warthogs have a healthy spring in their step, and a robust disposition, good for depression I’m sure. Some of the hippos we saw seemed in need of therapy, they’d sit staring at the ground and farting and generally wallowing.

An alternate perspective from my friend Steve: “To me, a warthog looks like a bottle opener on four legs.”
