I Stand Accused . . . of an addled memory

Kathy-Hilen Smith explained it all for us, then sought to know “who’s who in the clusterflock band“. I declined all potential offers to act as rhythm guitarist, then put in a bid for bass, citing my admiration for The Duchess (of Bo Diddley fame). Then I got to thinking, hauled out a videotape of The TAMI Show, and took a look at Bo and The Duchess.

The Duchess did not play bass. But didn’t she look fine?

    The Duchess also makes an appearance (fictionally speaking) in the Animals’ great song-within-a-song “The Story of Bo Diddley”, which climaxes with Diddley saying something along the order of, “Man, that’s the biggest load of rubbish I ever heard.”
