Subjecting myself to more scorn

Since regular readers already know of (and mock me for) my championing of any number of recordings by the Electric Light Orchestra and the BeeGees, why not open up the door again and state categorically that my favorite Nick Drake song is the lushly melodic “Northern Sky”?

    Nothing wrong with “Northern Sky”. I love the arrangement. Doesn’t John Cale play celeste on that one?

    I must be depressed since my most recent favorite Nick Drake song is “River Man”.
