Good ol’ Guiness. Not the stuff that comes in the bottles or cans, the kegs at the local pub are imported directly from Ireland, so it’s the kind you can nearly chew it’s so rich. Mmmmmm.

Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc (it’s on sale at World Market around the corner; it would be special occasion stuff if not).

An infusion of peat from a bog.

  9. Cindy Scroggins on March 17th, 2008 at 12:30 pm

    Would that be Laphroaig?

Damn, that stuff tastes like liquefied peat moss.

Cindy, I had in mind something like the hot licorice water i’m drinking right now, but Laphroaig is wonderful.

Hot licorice water. I’m intrigued. Is that licorice essence dissolved in hot water to make a tea?
