like the sun going down on my grievances

You know how sometimes you’ll get a song stuck in your head and it will morph into another song? Right now Daniel Johnston’s Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Your Grievances is morphing into Elton John’s Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.

Yeah. I know.

    Worse yet, whenever I hear “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me”, I’m forever reminded of a parody during the Clinton administration: “I let an Intern Go Down On Me”.
