Thank you for making this available to us, Deron. First time around I was still living in the back of beyond, where they’d only just strung electricity out past town and even to get a slow dial-up connection, we had to go through a telephone switchboard operator who doubled as the postmistress. But now I live in the back of a different beyond, closer to Chicago and entwined with a ‘resort’, so am up to speed (so to speak) and eagerly looking forward to viewing the film.

Wow-that was great, Deron. What kind of camera did you use, and when will this be completed?

I used a Sony HDR-FX1. As far as I can tell, it is completed…. Is there something I should know? :)

    Deron
We just finished watching. I am awash in memories of stories my family members never told. Things we may never tell to each other. Thank you.

Deron - this unfolds like unwrapping a gift from such a particular place and time. And the more it communicates that placeness, that time, the more it resonates across distance to be right here and right now. I’m moved, engaged, didn’t want it to end. Honored to have been invited to take part. Thank you.
