Weird
The Bush Administration apparently does not want a U.S. military study that found no direct connection between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda to get any attention. This morning, the Pentagon canceled plans to send out a press release announcing the report’s release and will no longer make the report available online.
Sort of the equivalent of putting your hands over your eyes and pronouncing yourself invisible.

You know, they have really taken the worst of Lawyerly abuse of the system and applied it to everything. See a fact you don’t like? Well don’t say anything, don’t admit anything, don’t answer any questions, don’t bring it up–and when you reach a point when you have to, pull out all the stops and attach every questioner with everything it takes to discredit the “enemy.” These fuckers make Machiavelli look like a kid selling girl scout cookies.
