Y’all

I’m getting ready to watch The Darjeeling Limited. Danny and I tried to get to the theatre, just couldn’t. Didn’t. Danny’s up in Rockton tonight. I wish he were here.

    What’d you think? I can’t “name” my feelings in the same way I may have at the end of past Anderson movies. But it was delicious. I really love that I can’t name my feelings. It might be a few days before I can really talk about it. If I ever do. The brother thing…the family thing…sometimes I feel I’m a million miles away.

    I liked it. The story and characters resonated with me, boy do I understand the family thing. And I thought it was beautifully crafted (despite some sloppy steadicam work, I think).

    It was a film of brilliant little touches. And it was not his best.
