2007 Moment

It occurred to me today, that without a doubt, the Colbert White House roast was the single best moment of 2006, and Kanye West’s comment about George Bush was the singular and defining moment of 2005, the wardrobe malfunction of 2004…. For some reason I’m drawing a blank for 2007…. Anybody? Did 2007 have a moment?

    On a slightly more serious note, how about the swearing in of Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House and Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader?

    actually, I was. I assumed he would, but not before the trial. and I was gob-smacked by the acceptance.
