“I have seen strange. I have lived through weird. I have suffered the bizarre…”

…Sometimes it feels like I’ve seen it all and there is nothing left that will surprise me. Then something comes along that defies all that I know and think and feel. There are things that perhaps we are just not supposed to understand.

It’s just plain odd.

    “heterotopic”, John? Man, you sent me to dictionary.com on that one, but yes, it fits nicely. I’ll bet you have been patiently waiting for weeks to find an opportunity to use that one in conversation… heh…

    Winston,
    Heterotopias were pretty much where I lived while working on my dissertation. I don’t exactly use it in everyday conversation, but it’s never too far away.
