So, like, being

the nitwit that I am, I sort of conflated my (British) edition of Edith Wharton stories (which I found in a used bookstore) with the Scribner Ghost Stories of. . . which I had already previously seen (new) in stores. Mine doesn’t claim to be ghost stories per se, though it’s entitled The Ghost Feeler. It subtitles itself Stories of Terror and the Supernatural. Eh?
