When one neighbor had an iPod stolen from their car (they had left the car parked on the street and the iPod in plain sight) they got back at those criminals by, a week later, leaving the car parked in the same spot and filled with wrapped Christmas presents. In shock, they sent an email out to the neighborhood to inform us that they had been victims of another theft. Our neighbors are much nicer.

He was apparently on "high alert" after they took his radio a few days ago. I am glad I am moving to a nicer area. He raised a car's hood, down the street (back when you didn't have to "pop the hood" from inside the car), leaned in toward the battery cables--and the sound abruptly stopped.
