    I note that even in a camera-phone photo it is possible to discern that as usual I have a piece of filth in my hair, likely some crumb of food.

    Indeed she is, that Alek. I’m glad her ibykos site includes samples of her ‘sideline’ as well as her photography. (And I’m looking forward to seeing some of the ‘art’ for which she’s cleared space, but as it’s heading on into the high tourist season on Samos, I think she’s probably pretty busy with the jewelry.)
