Incidents of travel, 4

  • May 9 has launched with sunshine. Will it linger? Rain is in the forecast.
  • There are lots of bunnies in my niece’s neighborhood.
  • There is a large prairie dog community just outside my niece’s neighbor, on county park land. Occasionally the p.d.s make incursions into the home-owner territory.
  • The chirping of prairie dogs reminds me more of birds or monkeys than rodentish mammals.

    Fixin’ to be a war ‘tween the bunnies and the prairie dogs? You know, one of them sheepmen vs. cattlemen kind of deals?
