Neglected (only those activities dropped in the last fifteen years; I don't want to overload the Internet)
• sewing – I own three sewing machines; I continue to buy patterns and fabric but haven't finished a project since 2001
• knitting – still haven't finished the stupid baby blanket I started in February
• drawing
• cooking – except for the occasional cake
• drinking – alcohol promptly puts me to sleep, so I avoid it except in lively environments
• reading – though I continue to acquire books at a rate far, far beyond my capacity for consumption
• writing letters
• windowsill gardening – my herbs always end up with bugs
• learning various languages – Dutch, German, Italian, ColdFusion, PHP

Current
• still flailing at learning French; intend to begin flailing at Norwegian and possibly Russian
• blogging, more or less

Forthcoming
• electronics

Daryl, I used to do that, crush and smell leaves, in my father's herb garden as a kid and my recent fascination with beverages in flavors (hence the stint in wine and, now, coffee) makes me want to practice and apply some of my (meager) knowledge on the subject. Tea seemed like a good idea.

Andrew: I grow quite a number of different herbs each year--but I don't use many of them for teas. I do use lemon verbena and various kinds of mint in teas--and once I even made a tea from scented geranium leaves that was very good. I mostly like to walk out and pinch a leaf from this or that to crush and smell. I love the smell of sage, for instance--and basil, and rosemary, and bay, and epazote....

I'd forgotten about the fencing.

My list is pathetically small:

Snowboarding.

Yes, that's it.
