Anyway, he was a student at Bard when he started the series in 1979. (This I know only because of Chris Glass's <a href="http://onlytheblogknowsbrooklyn.typepad.com/only_the_blog_knows_brook/2008/05/mental-floss-di.html" rel="nofollow">OTBKB link</a>.) It's easy to get confused. There's an awful lot of stuff flying around here, hence my <a href="http://www.clusterflock.org/2008/06/not-that-im-volunteering.html" rel="nofollow">revival of Cindy's (or Deron's) idea of a <em>clusterflock</em> Guide for the Perplexed</a> and my seconding of Cindy's nomination of India to git 'er done. He was a fan, presumably — or maybe he just liked the look. Anyway, he was a student at Bard when he started the series in 1979. (This I know only because of Chris Glass’s OTBKB link.)
