A Project for Rick

Inspired by Barry Stone’s photograph of carts in a Hobby Lobby parking lot, I ambled over to the Hobby Lobby website, where I discovered a project that has RICK NEECE scribbled all over it.

Try to keep the crayons as even as you can. Also, try to keep the small hoop in the center of the large hoop. Only glue one crayon at a time. If you don’t, you will not have enough space between the crayons.

Oh Sheila, if only I didn’t have so many projects already in the works. I’m still working on the first page of the coloring book I picked up at the East Wing of the National Gallery in DC, Masterpieces of Art. And I’m working on our coloring page The Wall of Death. I’m soon going to have to hire some people who color if I can’t keep up.

Maybe you could outsource some of your coloring to the Philippines. That’s what the animation divisions of big film studios do, I hear.
