    I actually have a lot of moth pins. Sheila, if this moth happens to meet a natural death while in your home, please preserve it somehow and make it into a pin for me. Thank you very much.

    Hi. This is a REALLY beautiful moth! Definitely great inspiration for artists! I found out some info about it for you. It’s one of the tiger moths (family=Arctiidae), likely in the genus Apantesis. The following website displays images of many different Arctiidae species, and it’s probably one of these. Scroll down to row #4 for Apantesis genus.
