3g iPhone 2.0 giveaway
Okay people, here we go.
As many know, the second generation iPhone will be announced today. It should have a much faster network, video conferencing, perhaps be able to stream movies and television, and be able to levitate new born elephants.
Last year we had a lot of fun with the iPhone giveaway and have decided to do it again. We don’t know yet what the price of the new phone(s) will be as there have been rumors that this version will perhaps be subsidized by ATT.
So, once we know what the price is, we’ll know how many phones we can give away.
The entry fee is $20. clusterflock keeps none of the money. All the money will be given away in iPhones. Let me know if you have any questions. This should be fun.

we’re about halfway to the first phone. I think everyone has been lost in a macrumorslive.com wormhole for the past couple hours. I’ve got notes in to Jason and John Gruber about helping get the word out. I assume once people get the chance, this will really pick up.

The only disheartening news is that AT&T isn’t being kind and upping the data plan to $30/month from the regular $20/month. Maybe they will get their stuff together and offer the same $20 rate to current iPhone customers that are upgrading? Might be a smart move for them, PR/Customer Satisfaction-wise.
