Meet the Press Host Tim Russert Dead at 58.

I guess this isn’t the sort of thing that normally gets posted here, but I guess I’m kinda shocked. He died at work. Sheesh. (link)

    I heard this on my way home from work today. Heartbreaking— I think Tim Russert was one of the good guys.

    I just heard this too…I almost got to see him speak at an event this year.

    I was explaining to my wife that I felt horrible that he died so suddenly, but that I wasn’t sure why. It was when I realized that he died working that I recognized why I was so disturbed by this. He was, indeed, one of the good guys, but it was very surprising. No one, regardless of their job, ever sees themselves dying while at work.

    I extend my deepest sympathy for his family.
