now this is just too far
When our science teachers are not allowed to teach their religious beliefs in class or brand a student with the sign of the cross, the separation of church and state has gone too far!

I don’t see what the problem is, the bastard should have been strung up by his balls and ritualistically abused.
When I send my children to school I want to get a broad based education and not be taught some other fools narrow minded view of the world.
Why is it that religious fanatics all believe their view is the only true way?
PS. Thought I’d use my real name for a change!
Ah,
Haggis— eh, Mike — there! You see? A change is in the air. It’s probably just as well you haven’t spent extended stretches of time in the States. You might get kind of cantankerous.
“With the exception of the cross-burning episode . . . ” I like that.
‘might get kind of cantankerous’ i was kinda under the impression he already was, despite the name he’s using,
and i’m not sure about that cross burning episode, there’s a slight difference between an X and a +; which was it? speaking of the differences reminds me of something here… i was called upon to vote in the village where i work and am ‘registered’. i will occasionally succumb [under pressure] to the ridiculousness of politics at a VERY grass roots level, well i don’t have the right to vote here at any other level in any case but i can maintain a stance. So off i trotted to the ballot box, made my mark beside the appropriate name only to find a few hours later that my mark, a clear and distinct ‘X’ had been disqualified and that i should have known that in Greece the selection is made with a +.
so there is a distinction
Science has nothing to do with religion. It should be kept nice and separate. Branding students, now that’s something I hadn’t thought of.
Alek, that’s a good one about making your mark. (No problems involving electronic voting yet in the village, it seems.)
As for our (fiery) mutual friend, yes — under any name and any where!
Let’s brand them with something useful, shall we? Something that lacks controversy all together.
