My ex-in-laws (god knows how one hyphenates that) always complained that the Cubans were taking over Miami; “you go into a store, and you get ‘ola’ instead of ‘hello’!”

I’ve just always seen it as inevitable that at some point in my life I’ll need to pick up Spanish. I’ve a few years of French and an affection for etymology, so I’m half a romance language away.

Well, now, you do have a point. Another possibility, pointed out by fellow ‘flocker Andrew Simone, is there’s a bit of a resemblance between Roger Federer and Quentin Tarantino.
