    Two good questions. Answer them.

There and back again? To see the queen?

    I see Mt. Fuji? I see…andirons? And a…shower door?

We were wondering. We miss you if a day goes by without your posts and comments appearing–

Why, thank you, Daryl. And I may reveal all on Monday. Or reveal some.

  5. Sheila Ryan on August 31st, 2008 at 11:38 pm

Actually, I was hoping y’all might know.

She was off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of… somewhere.

We need more clues. I refuse to commit myself yet, largely for fear of looking stoopid.

well i guess it ain’t fair if i say you’ve been hanging out in a ‘bordello’ and duelling with the count

Is it . . . Monday already? Funny. Feels like a holiday.

  12. Phil Bebbington on September 1st, 2008 at 9:03 am

Perhaps you will respond to probing questions like…Mmmmmm, let me see, have you got tan lines or a hangover?

  13. Phil Bebbington on September 1st, 2008 at 9:03 am

Sorry, sometimes the detective in me takes over.

  14. Sheila Ryan on September 1st, 2008 at 9:32 am

I have the right to remain silent . . .

  15. alek on September 1st, 2008 at 10:30 am

no you don’t, no right whatsoever

Misquoting John Lennon (and based on privileged information), a hint:

    “You can catch a tan
From standing in the Bay area rain. . . .”

    I heard Sheila’s a tease. I’m not sayin’ where, it’s just what I heard.

  18. Sheila Ryan on September 1st, 2008 at 11:07 am

I heard that, too, but I also heard that she eventually puts out. She just gets off on begging.

  19. Phil Bebbington on September 1st, 2008 at 12:35 pm

    Oh, I can plead….I’m a miserable pleader.

Just drawing on my English comedy roots.

Completely over the top is what we’re looking for. We’ll be scheduling auditions.

Using the restroom at the Mt. Fuji overlook?

  22. Sheila Ryan on September 1st, 2008 at 4:12 pm

The restroom at the Mt. Fuji overlook has no view of Mt. Fuji, can you believe it? I just peed behind some scrub that rimmed the foothills and said, “The hell with it.”

Anyway, that ain’t even Mt. Fuji in the picture there. Rick was just tossing out a red herring, I think.

The top image seems to indicate a trip to London and perhaps the purchase of a t-shirt from Kew Gardens. The Pagoda looks awfully familiar.

  24. Sheila Ryan on September 1st, 2008 at 5:41 pm

Wait! Yes, I seem to recall some kind of Anglo-Asian synergy in that place where I was. Or was it cultural imperialism? Forgive me. I misremember. I was in a hypnagogic state.

  25. Sheila Ryan on September 1st, 2008 at 6:31 pm

Hot damn, Phil, if those aren’t the same two pagodas. Some kind of quantum physics at work or something.
