Radiohead at The Hollywood Bowl
Go see Radiohead? Don’t mind if I do! Last night a friend and I made our way, along with nearly 18,000 other people, to the Hollywood Bowl. I saw them once before at Coachella in 2004 and this experience was far better. The light show that accompanied them was monstrous and strange and wonderful. Huge floor to ceiling columns of light that seemed capable of any combination of color or pattern. That they played even 1/3 of True Love Waits made my evening, and I almost cried.

I almost cried too! If they had played the whole song I totally would’ve.
Damnit! True Love Waits?!?!? I was at the show on Sunday….not Monday…
saw them in Vancouver BC.
True Love Waits is my most favorite song of theirs.
Yeah, I liked the Monday playlist much better.
I saw Radiohead in a pub in Melbourne in 1993, cost = $8.
Then I saw them at Festival Hall in Melbourne in 1998, cost = $42.
I figure if I ever decide to go see them again, it’s gonna set me back at least 200 bucks, at that inflationary rate.
In 1993, I was seven. I didn’t have any dollars. Sometimes I stole kumquats from the neighbour’s tree.
and Tell Me Why? How was that?
I’m so envious. Sounds like a great show. Radiohead, Radiohead. Suddenly I want to masturbate.
uh oh.
I wonder if anyone has made love to
RadioheadBrandon, lately. There wasn’t such an elaborate show here in Dallas, but hey, it ain’t LA. I did, however, get to lie down on a blanket on the lawn and look up at the stars and listen to beautiful live music. I was in tears at least once that night and it wasn’t because of the $8 crappy beer they had for sale at the Smirnoff Center.
Let’s all make love.
clusterflockstock should be interesting.
it was fucking orgasmic…i went nuts to the entire set. genius. legendary. awe-inspiring.
i have to say though i was surprised and disappointed at how passive the audience was…compared to me
