People, the only way you can wish this into the cornfield is by posting something new.

You and Lena need to take her works on the road–a traveling exhibition.

Oh, Lena doesn’t travel well, and she is erratic in her capacity for schmoozing at openings. So I plan to act as her representative. She will become one of those legendary reclusive figures of the art world.

And if you know of any arts funding entities or individuals from whom I might solicit financial support for taxidermy services, please contact me.

Certain types of animal taxidermy are illegal here in the UK ;) Although I’m sure still practised in private…..I’m sure certain states have a more open mind and may even offer funding for such activities….all in the name of art of course!

I am intrigued by the notion of “certain types of animal taxidermy” being illegal and wonder whether the prohibitions focus on species, on manner of death, on preservative method, or on aesthetics generally. I think that we may safely discount the last.

Oh, now I’m thinking that “certain types of animal taxidermy” is a reference I should get. Is it something everybody else knows about? Does it have to do with sex? Does it have to do with donkeys? Goats?

Phil, one way or another I will have an answer from you!

OK…sorry for the delay…fell asleep on the sofa..thoughts of Goats and Donkeys no doubt! Yes it was a crude sexual reference to the stuffing of animals…..why oh why? I was sober as well. I knew it would return to haunt me!
