Strindberg and Helium

Strindberg and Helium is a series of vignettes featuring tormented Scandinavian playwright August Strindberg and his, er, “floaty friend Helium.”

I love what people find to do with their time. “I think I’ll make an elaborate cartoon series featuring the great misogynist playwright August Strindberg and a little pink Helium guy.”

    This is great.

Alek, it does not surprise me that you were onto these years back. I first discovered them courtesy of a US friend who had lived many years both in Athens and Belgrade. Somehow it all makes sense. The sensibility.

i did Strindberg, Ibsen and Chekhov for my end of school exams, Chekhov being light comedy in that trio, though helium adds another dimension to monsieur August
