Save-Mart bought Albertsons a few years ago. In Sacramento, all the Albertsons changed to Save-Mart (a crappy name) but in the Bay Area, all the Albertsons went back to the Lucky brand, but the stores are identical to Save-Mart.
I’ve always been interested in why stores choose different branding in different regions and I’m surprised to hear that the Albertsons brand survives.
thank you, Amanda Mae.
“the joy of eating”
!!!
the joy of cramming your maw
also I don’t know if you can see it but she has food coming out of her mouth
You sure that’s food?
Amanda Mae, is that your neighborhood Ralph’s?
No, Albertsons.
You still have Albertsons stores? Aren’t they all Save-Mart or Lucky now?
Albertsons bought Lucky’s in the 90’s, I think. Maybe early 00’s.
I have never seen a Save-Mart.
We have: Albertsons, Ralphs, Vons, and Stater Bros. and Trader Joes, where we mostly shop.

That is all very interesting. Save-Mart sounds like the 99 cent store, and I dont think anyone would shop there.
Yeah, I was so delighted when I went to Seattle, they have a magical place called QFC!
