I’m disappointed in the lack of cooking skills of the millennial generation. Jarred sauce? It’s so easy to make it homemade.
I’m with you, Amy. If a thing is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.
For sure I would need to use my own personal sauce…finely adjusted for each family. I would want them to feel special - valued.

Though I am reminded of apocryphal tales about restaurant salsa and the ’secret sauce’ offered at Jack-in-the-Box and similar US fast-food establishments.
I’m always so suspicious of ’secret sauces’ just what do they have to hide!
