Paul Samwell-Smith looks like someone I probably went to school with. And I think Jeff Beck snuck away from his day job as resident assistant (or whatever they call them) at an English ‘public school’.
I finally watched, more or less (I was reading at the same time), Blow Up several days ago. Not bad at all, but masterpiece? Maybe if I’d paid more attention. I liked watching Beck mess with his guitar.
Well, now, Sheila, there is that Birdland album from a few years ago which would give one some sense of where the Yardbirds might be now, though of course they are Relf-less.

Mmmnh, no. Maybe not. Not really. Can’t imagine what they would look or sound like now. How might they have evolved? Having a hard time imagining.
