Nice to see a blending of the cultures, Kári. Every time I hear the Róisín Dubh version though, it gives me tingles.
Those fingers remind me of some footage I’ve seen of Mississippi John Hurt finger picking in his home in Washington DC, in the sixties. I love the way the penny whistler bends the note, and his vibrato is devastating.
