Taken in the city of my birth, Bristol, a shot of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and opened in 1864.
The guy who is taking these shots was interviewed on the local TV here, as far as I can recall he uses drink cans with a pinhole in the front, he loads them with photographic paper and then hides them for the 6 month exposures.
Absolutely gorgeous. Gothic, Romantic, haunting.
A wonderful picture. Solid time; the world the way a stone sees it.
