Cock-a-day

cock_doodles
Cam~phone snap of two doodles.

Mary Jeys is doing a thing-a-day, and the thing she is doing is doodling.

I’m doing my own thing, and that’s doodling a cock a day.

I’ll keep on doodling cocks till I’m bored with cocks.

Perhaps you could do a series of heraldic cocks. Cock rampant. Cock at bay. Cock volant.

  11. Sheila Ryan on February 12th, 2009 at 12:14 pm

Nah, Lucy. Infinite variety and all that.

  12. Lucy Foley on February 12th, 2009 at 12:15 pm

So many cocks in the countryside.

  13. Sheila Ryan on February 12th, 2009 at 12:17 pm

Scratching about the back roads and all. Yeah.

Sometimes I’ll doodle two cocks a day (see above). Then take a break.

It all comes down to inspiration.

  14. Sheila Ryan on February 12th, 2009 at 12:24 pm

Dunno, Sean. Your grids are pretty dang awesome.

  15. Sheila Ryan on February 12th, 2009 at 12:29 pm

Yeah, Andrew, I sure got into that boy (and his rooster), didn’t I?

  16. Andrew Simone on February 12th, 2009 at 1:00 pm

It was definitely what I would have described as “a thing.”

    And I await said picture.

i did a bird a day (kinda) for a year as fast as possible. I looked at it like I was doing creative pushups to stay in shape. I think they were cardinals. One day I realized that didn’t do them any more.

  27. Sheila Ryan on April 20th, 2009 at 4:26 pm

    (Kinda) a whole year? Wow.
