favorite quote
If people have time today, I’d like to see passages or quotes from favorite books. Regular flockers can, of course, make separate posts. Anyone else who wants to participate can use the Walken account. Include an Amazon (or favorite bookseller) link.

Deron: I’m glad you got this going; it’s always great to see what people have read that now lives with them. When I think about this my mind instantly fills with possibilities. It’s the whole life flashing before my eyes–but not mine; it’s all the lives in writing that are responsible for making me feel alive. I’ll post something, but it might take a while: I think of a great passage, and then I have to play the whole work in my mind to see if I might want to pick a different passage! It would take me a long time even if the whole game was limited to, say, the work of James Joyce (although Cindy already picked the passage from Joyce that I would have come to as well).
