Then there’s this footage of a raven playing in the snow. (You might want to mute the sound — unless you’re really into a soundtrack that melds what you hear before, during, and after the hot-stone massage at the day spa with the put-you-on-hold Muzak at the faux Irish boo-teek hotel — and overlays it with meaningless commentary.)
Oh the awfulness of youtube audio. On the topic of hot stones, I had such a massage at the Winter Wonderland resort I stayed in just before Christmas, and while it was lovely and everything, it wasn’t all that. I think I might go with Intensive Swedish next time, for variety.
That raven film brought tears to my eyes. That wonderful, silly bird off amusing himself while his friends are eating a dead animal. Lovely, lovely, lovely.
This makes me very happy.
Oh, it’s a bit like the stoatdancing video what Lucy posted on her blog.
That is all? That is enough. Like, you know, the basic food groups.
Oh, the stoat is wonderful.
VERY yes.

The rolling raven, though, is lovely.

Quoth the raven, Evermore! (snowrolling). I try my best.
This is swell! I bet they don’t fall off sideways and rip their legs off in the springs either.
So glad you posted it. It was on the tip of my…finger? When I saw it, but I figured it would make its way here soon enough. Cute little buggers.
Almost as good as the goats on trampoline video that was making the rounds!
There is a whole genre of animals on trampolines on youtube.
More foxes on trampolines
Goats
I love this!
They are very smart animals.
I’m going to see whether I can find trampoline-jumping stoats.
