neighbor’s window

Were it not for the branches that extend beyond the edge of her house, I might think that the tree is inside her upstairs bathroom.

(This is Pittsburgh drawing 100, by the way. Thank you so much for inviting me to this gathering.)

Congratulations Elizabeth. This could be an illustration for a story of Daryl’s, the first in his book, The Farmer’s Widow.

Beautiful, Elizabeth. And we are all very lucky here to get to see such drawings. Thank you.

This is really lovely, as your drawings always are. I clicked on it, hoping to get a bigger image, but the link didn’t work?

Your comment, by the way, doesn’t mean you are going to stop posting, does it?

Rick: I wasn’t thinking of The Farmer’s Widow when I began the drawing, but I wonder if it wasn’t someplace in mind when I looked out my own window and saw the branches against the light. Loved that story. Get the book, people!

Daryl: The luck is all mine – to have fetched up in such company.

Cooper: Thanks – I’ve fixed the link. (Left off a pesky .jpg in my typing.) As to stopping, no, no, no. On to the next hundred…
