Cheryl’s rock

Cheryl's rock

While I was drawing this one of the fisherman’s girlfriends was shouting "Darren, your mum’s on the phone, she wants to know if you’ve got your phone switched on!"

So, even if you’re fishing to get away from it all, you’re never too far away from your mum.

(I wonder what Cheryl thinks of having her name on this rock?)

    Beautiful, Wil, just beautiful.

Very well done, Wil. I like the green and lavender tones and how you managed to capture the fishers’ posture. I’m relatively new to clusterflock and it’s a nice surprise to see such a sketch come up.

This is wonderful in so many ways. That white wave line makes me squint–and then I can smell the salt spray and hear the birds. And that’s just the tactile dimension….

ace, I’m glad you like it was a lovely day.

I get a minor kick of seeing these huge red sandstone rocks and knowing that’s what the glasgow tenement buildings are made from.

Just below, and to the left of “Cheryl”–the light on that little (running?) pool of water.
